TERMS AND CONDITIONS
When you book the tour you will be asked to sign a Tour Agreement acknowledging these terms and conditions:

1. SYDNEY REHEARSALS

You must agree to participating in the 4 rehearsals which will be held from 2pm - 4pm on the 4 Sundays prior to departure. These will be held in a location somewhere in the Sydney metropolitan area. Venues will be advised closer to the dates. These are extremely important rehearsals and will be the final preparations for the concert performances.

2. DEPOSIT

Your tour booking is confirmed by payment of a non-refundable deposit. These funds are not refundable because they are required to purchase non-refundable fees for rehearsal venues, and to pay for deposits on accommodation. All transactions are processed in Australian dollars.

3. FULL PAYMENT

Full payment of the tour cost is due 12 weeks prior to the start of the tour (9am Sunday July 1st 2017). Preferred payment options are online EFT or cheque. Your booking will be cancelled and your deposit lost if you do not make your final payment by the date indicated in the Tour Agreement.

4. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

All monies paid by you above and beyond the non-refundable deposit will be refunded IF we receive the cancellation request in writing from you before 12 weeks prior to the start of the tour.

There will be no refund of any kind if you cancel the tour within 12 weeks prior to the start of the tour.

If you cancel your booking in a double/twin room but are travelling with a companion who chooses to continue to participate on the tour, the companion will be liable to pay the single supplement.

No refunds will be given for any unused sections of the tour entry fees or hotel accommodation.

Acappella Central will not accept any cancellations from tour participants in the unusual circumstance whereby a concert program is changed after tickets have been purchased.

Should Acappella Central be required to cancel the tour you will be refunded all monies paid including deposit. Acappella Central has a minimum participation of 20 singers to make this concert tour viable. Should this number not be reached by December 31st 2-17, the tour may be cancelled and all monies will be refunded. You will be advised when the minimum number has been reached, at which point you should organise travel to Hawaii.

Should a participant in the tour prove, in the opinion of Acappella Central, to display socially unacceptable behaviour - such as being annoying, distressing or dangerous to other tour members - their further participation in the tour may be cancelled immediately and no compensation will be paid to them for any loss.

5. CHANGES TO TOUR PRICE

There will be no changes in tour prices once Acappella Central has received your final payment for the tour.

Prior to receipt of final payment, tour prices are subject to change due to factors including exchange rates, taxes, cost of goods and services and the number of tour participants.

We will give you as much notice as possible should this occur and give you the option of cancelling the tour and obtaining a full refund.

FORCE MAJEURE CLAUSE

Should unforeseen and unavoidable events (such as advice against travel from the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, epidemics, health risks, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions, technical or maintenance problems with transport, changes imposed by cancellation or rescheduling of flights by an airline) occur that require a change to items on the itinerary, Acappella Central will endeavour to find the best alternative available. If the cost of the alternative is less than the original item, you will be refunded any savings. Should the alternative be more expensive you may be charged for additional costs.

6. CHANGES TO OUR ITINERARY

Changes to itinerary may occasionally be required due to circumstances beyond the control of Acappella Central. However, you will be informed of any such changes as soon as they are confirmed and we will endeavour to make sure any changes only improve your experience on the tour.
An administration fee may be applied should you wish to change any of your booking details after they have been confirmed. You would also be advised of any direct costs involved in making such changes at the time.

7. PASSPORTS, VISA AND VACCINATIONS

You are required to have a passport valid for six months after the date of your return to Australia. You are also required to make sure you have any necessary visas and vaccinations for the trip.

8. TRAVEL INSURANCE

You are required to have comprehensive travel insurance before you can join the tour. You must provide documentation to show you have this no later than five days before the due date for your final payment. Without this, you will have your booking cancelled and your deposit will be forfeited. Make sure you check the insurance conditions regarding such matters including, excesses payable, maximum payment amounts, pre-departure cancellation and coverage of pre-existing medical conditions.

9. FITNESS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE TOUR

To participate in this tour you must be able to:

  • negotiate airports, railways and boats without wheelchair assistance;

  • use combined shower/bath facilities;

  • undertake walking tours of 1-3 hours duration, including walking on uneven ground;

  • climb 150 or more steps;

If there are any doubts about whether you can manage these things, we may require your doctor to read the itinerary and confirm it is suitable for you to participate.

10. ILLNESS OR DISABILITY

If you are suffering from illness or disability or undergoing treatment for any physical or medical condition you must disclose the true nature of the condition at the time of booking and make provisions for any medication or other treatment which may be required during the tour. Failure to make such a disclosure will constitute a breach of these booking terms and conditions and will result in you being excluded from the tour, in which case all monies paid will be forfeited.

11. ELIGIBILITY

Acappella Central reserves the right to refuse to accept a booking at it's own discretion.

12. LOCAL LAWS

All tour participants are expected to obey the laws and regulations in the USA. If you fail to do this, Acappella Central will be relieved of all obligations under the Tour Agreement and booking Terms and Conditions.
